The Beanie Collective

Over a decade of practice, made into a firm.

The Beanie Collective is the culmination of Oluseyi Mafolabomi's work in communications and strategy. The practice and the firm are the same thing, and that is deliberate.

What we are

A brand communications and strategy firm, working on the three things that decide whether people choose you.

The strategy that clarifies who you are and why you win. The identity that makes you recognisable. And the communications that carry you to the people who matter.

That is the whole firm in a sentence. Everything after it is about doing the three consistently, at a standard set by one practice rather than assembled from many.

The anchor

Oluseyi Mafolabomi.

Over a decade of work across branding, marketing, and communications. Brand strategy and identity, marketing and growth marketing, corporate communications, programme design, and grants management, in settings where measurement and accountability were standard practice rather than an afterthought.

That experience is not background to the firm. It is the firm. The Beanie Collective exists because ten years and more of doing this work produced a clear view of what actually moves a brand, and a way of working that holds up under pressure.

It is also the reason we sell communications answerable to results. Most brand work in this market is judged on reach and engagement, numbers that rarely connect to anything a founder actually cares about. We were trained the other way round, in places where you had to show what the work returned, and we have not stopped.

Engage the firm and you engage that practice directly. The strategy and the relationship stay with the founder, on every piece of work, from the first conversation.

The name

Collective is a description, not a flourish.

The founder holds the strategy and the relationship. A trusted bench of specialists does the making, assembled around what each engagement actually needs.

It is what lets a small firm do senior work without becoming a big one. It also means you are never handed down to a junior team once the pitch is over. The expertise you met is the expertise you get.

How we sound

Clear, senior, and warm without being soft.

We aim to be the calmest person in the room, the one who explains the hard thing simply and tells you the truth kindly.

Say the true thing plainly

Evidence before claim, and the point before the flourish. If a plain sentence will do, we use it.

Confidence, not hype

No superlatives, no jargon. The work carries the weight, so the words can stay calm.

Warm, not soft

Kind and direct at the same time. We will still disagree with a client when the work needs it.

One idea at a time

One thought per sentence, one point per paragraph. Clarity is the product, so the writing has to model it.
